Shamara's journey in fitness is rooted in a lifetime of athletic pursuit, including competing at the Division 1 track and field level. This firsthand experience, combined with over nine years dedicated to strength training and a NASM certification, forms the backbone of her coaching philosophy.
She holds a Bachelor's degree from UC Santa Barbara and a Master's from the University of Southern California, providing a strong academic foundation to her practical expertise. Shamara specialises in a balanced training style that intelligently combines adaptive functional movements with the time-tested benefits of traditional weight training. This approach enables her to help everyone, from fitness newcomers to experienced athletes, unlock new levels of movement efficiency and strength.
